Swara Bhaskar Biography
Swara Bhaskar was born in Delhi on April 9th, 1988. Her father’s name is Chitrapu Uday Bhaskar and his mother’s name is Ira Bhaskar. Her father was an Indian Navy Officer and her mother is a professor of cinema studies at Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi. She had an elder brother Ishan Bhaskar.
She was born and raised in Delhi and her schooling from Sardar Patel Vidyalaya, New Delhi and graduation in English Literature from Miranda House, University of Delhi. She also did M.A in Sociology from Jawaharlal Nehru University New Delhi. After her education, she decided to act in films and worked in many Bollywood movies.

Before Bhaskar started acting in films she was associated with N. K. Sharma’s “Act One” theater group in Delhi. She shifted to Mumbai in 2008 and made her acting debut with the 2009 film Madholal Keep Walking
Bhaskar then appeared in Srinivas Sunderrajan’s black and white thriller “The Untitled Kartik Krishnan project”, which was touted as India’s first mumblecore film, made on the budget of ₹40,000 (US$560) and completed in one year, was also the first Indian film to be screened at the Transilvania International Film Festival. However, both Guzaarish and The Untitled Kartik Krishnan Project were box-office failures and Bhaskar remained unnoticed for her performances.
