Olivia Frances Culpo, popularly known as Olivia Culpo, is an American fashion influencer,  social media personality, and actress.

She has crowned Miss USA and Miss Universe in 2012 after taking first place in the Miss Rhode Island USA pageant.

Carmen Culpo was crowned Miss USA 2012 on June 3, 2012, in Cranston, Rhode Island. She won the 2012 Miss Rhode Island USA competition in the first pageant she entered.

The city of Cranston held a homecoming celebration for Culpo for her pageant win. On July 6, 2012, Cranston City Hall held an outdoor ceremony to present Culpo with the key to the city.

Olivia Culpo was crowned Miss Universe 2012 on December 19, 2012, in Las Vegas, Nevada.

She is the eighth representative from the United States to win the title and the first since Brook Lee in 1997. Culpo succeeded outgoing titleholder, Leila Lopes, from Angola.

Culpo went to Indonesia in January 2013 and assisted in announcing the Puteri Indonesia 2013 winner on February 1 in Jakarta.

She also went to Yogyakarta, Surabaya, and Bali during her trip. The resolution to rename Albert Avenue in Edgewood, which extends for its entire length between Broad Street and Narragansett Boulevard, was approved by the Cranston city council on August 25, 2013.

Culpo participated in the Sherri Hill fashion show on September 10, 2013, which was held at the Trump Tower in New York City.

Culpo spent September 27 through October 6 in India. She named Gabriela Isler of Venezuela as her successor in November 2013. She thus became the third American Miss Universe to hand the crown to Venezuela.

Along with Jasmine Sanders and Kate Bock, Olivia Culpo appeared on the cover of Sports Illustrated’s 2020 issue and in the swimsuit section. She also appeared on the reality series

Model Squad (2018). I Feel Pretty, Reprisal, and The Other Woman featured Culpo in supporting roles.

She was also chosen as the female lead in the upcoming movie Venus as a Boy. In August 2017, Culpo and her family opened an eatery in Rhode Island.
