Kevin Wayne Durant also known as KD is an American professional basketball player for the Brooklyn Nets of the National Basketball Association (NBA).

He was drafted as the second overall pick by the Seattle SuperSonics in the 2007 NBA draft. After nine seasons with the Sonics, he signed with the Warriors in 2016, winning two NBA championships.

Durant was named to the NBA 75th Anniversary Team in 2021. He has been named to ten All-NBA teams (including six First Teams) and selected 12 times as an NBA All-Star.

As a member of the U.S. men’s national team, he has won three gold medals in the Olympics. He is the leading scorer in Team USA’s men’s Olympic basketball history.

Off the court, he has developed a reputation for philanthropy and regularly leads the league in All-Star votes and jersey sales.
