Harmanpreet Kaur is an Indian Cricketer. She plays for India in the Indian Women’s Cricket team. She is an all-rounder. Now she is serving as the Captain of the Indian women cricket team for the T20 World Cup series 2020. She is the first Indian woman who scored a century in Women’s T20 International match.

Harmanpreet Kaur Career
She played her 1st match at an age of 20 against Pakistan Women’s in March 2009 in the 2009 Women’s Cricket World Cup at Bradman Oval, Bowral. Later in June 2009, she played her first International T20 Match in 2009 ICC Women’s World T20 against England and in that match she just scored 8 runs off 7 balls.
After in 2012 Women’s T20 Asia Cup Final is named as captain as Captain Mithali Raj and Vice-Captain Jhulan Goswami were out because of Injuries after that many times she played as a captain for the team. She is also the first woman for India to score a hundred in the International T20 match. In the year 2019 October she became the first Indian Cricketer from both men and women to play 100 International T20 matches. In the year 2015 against South Africa, she took 9 wickets and gave India a victory by 34 runs.
In the year 2017, she received the prestigious “Arjuna Award” for Cricket by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports.
