Aaditya Thackeray was born on June 13 1990 in Mumbai. He was born in a family of politicians and saw politics from close quarters right from his childhood. He obtained his Law degree from K C Law College, Mumbai.

Aditya started actively participating in politics while in his 20s and campaigned vigorously for Shiv Sena during the 2014 General and Maharashtra State elections.

In 2019, he finally contested in 2019 Maharashtra State elections from Worli Constituency of Mumbai and became an MLA.
After the coalition government was formed between Shiv Sena, NCP, and INC, he served as the Cabinet Minister of Tourism and Environment while his father Uddhav Thackeray served as the CM of Maharashtra.

Aditya’s father’s name is Uddhav Thackeray and his mother’s name Rashmi Thackeray. His father Uddhav Thackeray is the chief minister of Maharastra state. Aditya is the grandson of veteran politician Bal Thackeray.
